• Supervising the execution of development projects for university facilities.
• Studying new projects and preparing bills of quantities BoQ and technical specifications.
• Reviewing designs and blueprints to ensure compliance with the Saudi Building Code
• Preparing timelines and financial estimates for projects.
• Managing contracts for contractors and engineering consultancy firms.
• Providing engineering consultation for the operations of the General Department of Facilities.
3. Quality and Performance Development Unit
Tasks:
• Ensuring operational and administrative compliance with all approved regulations and policies
• Developing the Total Quality Management TQM framework within all departments and units
• Applying and regularly monitoring institutional Key Performance Indicators KPIs.
• Conducting internal audits and reviews for the activities of the General Department of Facilities
• Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and achieving beneficiary satisfaction.
• Ensuring operations comply with ISO 41001 / 9001 / 45001 standards and SBC 801.
4. Maintenance Department
Tasks:
• Executing preventive and periodic maintenance for all buildings and facilities..
• Operating the Marafiq electronic system to track tickets and schedule work
• Managing emergency tickets on a 24/7 basis.
• Developing predictive maintenance plans using performance data.
• Monitoring the performance of various maintenance contracts.
• Preparing monthly breakdown reports and key performance indicators.
• Controlling the inventory of spare parts and equipment.
• Training technicians on modern maintenance systems and incident handling.
5. Services Department
Tasks:
•Managing and operating general cleaning services and the maintenance of green spaces.
• Executing programs to enhance the urban aesthetics of the university campus.
• Developing waste recycling programs and resource consumption rationalization.
• Periodically measuring beneficiary satisfaction and analyzing the data.
•Supervising setup and arrangements for university events and conferences.
• Supervising the universitys water supply operations.
• Providing logistical transport services for furniture and equipment across all university sectors.
6. University Security Department
Tasks:
• Formulating and implementing the security plan within the university campus.
• Monitoring the entrances and exits of the universitys college complexes.
• Operating and monitoring smart camera systems CCTV around the clock.
• Supervising the security guard teams.
• Preparing emergency response plans and handling security incidents.
• Coordinating with external security authorities and the Civil Defense.
• Monitoring the implementation of entry procedures for visitors and vehicles.
• Preparing security incident reports and corrective actions.
7. Occupational Health and Safety Department
Tasks:
• Preparing and implementing the safety plan across all university facilities.
• Conducting periodic inspections of alarm and firefighting systems.
• Managing hazardous waste disposal operations.
• Ensuring compliance with the SBC 801 code and Civil Defense regulations.
• Conducting evacuation drills and emergency management exercises.
• Training employees on first aid and firefighting.
• Analyzing incidents and extracting lessons learned.
• Preparing risk assessment reports and mitigation plans.
• Implementing safety awareness programs within colleges and buildings.
8. Housing Department
Tasks:
• Monitoring lease or usufruct contracts belonging to the university in accordance with approved regulations and resolutions.
• Following up on housing unit allocation procedures based on priorities and regulations.
• Archiving contract records electronically.
• Monitoring tenants financial obligations and issuing alerts and invoices in coordination with the Financial Administration.
• Preparing periodic reports on occupancy rates as well as expired or renewed contracts.
• Supervising the handover and takeover processes of housing units to beneficiaries and documenting them handover/vacation minutes.
• Collaborating with the Monitoring and Quality Unit to review contract compliance with transparency and governance standards.
