Launching the facilities system:

On December 23, 2019 (04/25/1441), the Rector of the University, Prof. Muhammad bin Yahya Al-Shehri, officially launched the Marafiq system. This electronic platform is designed to manage the operation, maintenance, and general services across all university facilities. The system was introduced by the Director General of the Maintenance and Services Department, who outlined the electronic services and how they align with the university's vision and administration goals.

The Marafiq system operates under the General Administration of Maintenance and Services, which is responsible for receiving electronic communications from students and university employees regarding maintenance and operational issues related to the university's buildings and roads. A key component of this system is the Unified Reporting Center (5555).

Ongoing Contracts in the General Administration of Maintenance and Services:

1. Contract for maintenance, cleaning, and operation of all university buildings and facilities, including its branches.
2. Contract for maintenance and operation of medical and scientific equipment, as well as laboratories.
3. Contract for the maintenance of air conditioners, refrigerators, and coolers at the university.
4. Contract for the maintenance and operation of elevators and generators at the university.
5. Contract for the implementation of security and safety services at the university.
6. Contract for the maintenance of irrigation systems and crops at the university and its branches.
7. Contract for securing and supplying water to university buildings.
