The general objective: to show the university’s facilities in a manner worthy of its status, provide integrated services of cleaning, landscaping, management, maintenance and protection of university facilities, and supply them with logistical equipment.
Mission
- Implementation of approved plans and programmes.
- Implementing regulations and instructions for the management, maintenance and protection of public facilities.
- Following up on plans and programs for planting and cleaning works after their approval.
- Participating in preparing conditions and criteria for cleaning and landscaping works before offering them to tender.
- Supervising cleaning and pest control work and following up on their implementation in all university facilities.
- Supervising contractors for cleaning, control and landscaping services in all university units.
- Securing the transfer of furniture to the university faculties and its various departments.
- Monitoring of roadside brushing and keeping the roads free of waste.
- Removing any natural factors in the university facilities, such as torrents, rain, and sand storms, in coordination with the relevant organisational units
- Participating in the receiving committees for the work sites delivered to the university facilities to ensure that the contractors do not leave any waste after completing their work.
- Preparing events, seminars and graduation ceremonies and providing informative posters for these events in coordination with organisational units.
- Preparing extracts for contractors in coordination with the Coordination Unit for Administrative and Financial Affairs
- Provision of all office services for the furnishing or transportation of furniture for all organisational units.
- Sitting of standards and technical specifications to provide the best cleaning services, landscaping and logistical processing for the university.
- Following up and supervising all cleaning, landscaping and logistical services for the various university facilities
- Participate in determining the department's needs in terms of human resources, equipment and materials, and follow up on their provision
- Determining the training requirements of the management staff to nominate them for the appropriate training programs.
- Preparing periodic reports on the department's activities, achievements, and recommendations to improve performance development.
- Any other tasks assigned to it within the limits of competence.
